On April 1st at 12:11pm, Patrolman Nicholas Venuto arrested Carolyn Kenney, 38, of Barnegat for possession of heroin. Ptl. Venuto had been in the area of Tiller Dr when he observed Kenney walking. Ptl. Venuto had prior knowledge that Kenney had numerous outstanding warrants out of Robbinville, Port Republic, and Barnegat totaling $3,000 dollars. Ptl. Venuto made contact with Kenney and placed her under arrest.
During the course of the arrest Kenney was found to be in possession of eight individual wax folds of heroin. Kenney was subsequently charged with possession of heroin. She was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail in default of $15,000 bail on the heroin charge and $3,000 from the outstanding warrants.
