On October 17th at 11:08pm Patrolman Alex Hoffman arrested Jacquelin Popinko, 32, of Stewartsville for DWI after stopping her car on West Bay Avenue for failing to maintain lane of travel. Popinko’s vehicle was impounded for 12 hours in accordance with John’s Law. She was processed and released with summonses for DWI, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, failure to produce registration, and failure to produce insurance.
On October 24th at 11:01pm Patrolman Thomas Behrens arrested Paul Taurgrasso, 37, of Barnegat for DWI after contacting Taurgrasso on the shoulder of Lowershore Rd. Taurgrasso’s vehicle was impounded for 12 hours in accordance with John’s Law. He was processed and released with summonses for DWI, refusal to submit breath samples, and reckless driving.
On October 25th at 9:15pm Patrolman Timothy Bradshaw arrested Mark Sacaloff, 40, of Ocean for DWI after stopping Sacaloff’s vehicle on Route 9 for failing to maintain lane of travel. Sacaloff’s vehicle was impounded for 12 hours in accordance with John’s Law. Sacaloff was processed and released with summonses for DWI, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and maintenance of lamps.
On October 25th at 3:13am K9 Officer Robert Armstrong arrested Vishesh Nath, 19, of Barnegat for DWI after stopping Nath’s vehicle on Gunning River Road after a random license plate check showed Nath’s registration was suspended. Nath’s vehicle was impounded for 12 hours in accordance with John’s Law. Nath was processed and released with summonses for DWI, reckless driving, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and underage possession of alcohol.
On November 1st at 11:58pm Patrolman Brian Weber arrested Scott Wallace, 42, of Manahawkin for DWI after stopping Wallace’s vehicle on Barnegat Blvd for failing to maintain lane of travel. Wallace’s vehicle was impounded for 12 hours in accordance with John’s Law. Wallace was processed and released with summonses for DWI, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane.
