On December 14th at 8:36pm, Patrolman George Martin arrested Victor Amado, 25, of Manahawkin for DWI after responding to the area of Route 9 and West Bay Avenue for a report of a vehicle that ran a red light and nearly caused an accident. Ptl. Martin located the Black Ford Explorer and initiated a motor vehicle stop. After an on-scene investigation, Amado was placed under arrest.
Amado was processed and released with summonses for DWI, reckless driving, refusal to submit breath samples, and unlicensed driver.
